  17. it has begun shipping Questor 3.0, the latest release of its
  18. award-winning spreadsheet application for NEXTSTEP. The new version
  19. offers Microsoft Excel 4.0 file compatibility. (Complete product info

  22. Xanthus also announced special introductory pricing on Questor 3.0 of
  23. $249 (Retail $595) for a single-user license, available through
  24. August 31, 1994. Questor 3.0 is delivered as  fat  (MAB) binaries for
  25. Motorola and Intel processors. Registered owners of Questor 2.0 will
  26. automatically receive a free upgrade to the new version.

  28. Xanthus is also offering special promotional pricing on Graphity, its
  29. business graphing and charting application which can be used together
  30. with Questor or as a stand-alone application. When purchased with
  31. Questor at the promotional price, Graphity can be purchased for an
  32. additional $50 (Retail $395).

  48. Questor 3.0 is the most user-friendly and powerful spreadsheet
  49. application for NEXTSTEP. It combines the intuitive metaphor of a
  50. "matrix-based" spreadsheet application with a number of unique
  51. features and a true NEXTSTEP user interface. Together with OpenWrite,
  52. the "Microsoft Word-like" word processor announced by Xanthus at
  53. NEXTSTEP EXPO 94, Questor is one of the cornerstones in it's Open
  54. Office product suite.

  56. The backbone of Questor 3.0 is a conventional matrix-based
  57. spreadsheet that can easily be used by anybody familiar with
  58. traditional spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel, Lotus 1-2-3
  59. or Wingz.

  61. To this backbone is added a number of unique features, including
  62. easy-to-use SQL database access, a powerful scripting language,
  63. multi-level undo and a versatile API.
